This has saved me on more than one occasion. The most life saving feature however is the auto-save. It includes functions such as changing your Sims appearance without the need to launch CAS, set relationship levels with other Sims and even changing the time and weather. If you want complete control over almost anything that happens in the Sims then MC Command Centre is the mod for you. **Click Here for in depth instructions** MC Command Centre by Deaderpool Once you've downloaded your files head over to your documents, find the files you downloaded and paste them into "Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods" **Make sure that they are not more than one folder deep in the Mods folder or they may not work**Once you load the game go to game options > other > tick "Enable custom content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed"To identify what is custom content in your game the thumb nail will have a small wrench in the corner. The Sims 4 mods and CC creators are a pure gift to the community, even though EA have provided an abundance of packs with new content they can't do everything. If there isn't, remove the files until there's an update.The Sims as a franchise has existed for over 20 years with the first Sims game being released in February 2000, meaning the modders have had a lot of time to perfect their creations.
If there is, download it, and replace the original files. When a mod breaks then you will need to check where you got it from to see if there's a new version. Unlike the game itself, mods don't automatically update. Follow the instructions above to enable them again. This is because there's a risk that a mod isn't compatible with the latest version of the game. Mods and CC are usually disabled after The Sims 4 updates. If your lots use custom content, ensure that Include Custom Content is ticked on the left. To find these, click the gallery icon (photo album) in the top-right and click My Library. You don't need to do this for any lots you download. If you don't want to see this, untick Show At Startup.
